It is amazing the journey that God has set before us and how circumstances and events can a deep profound impact on our perception, habits, and character. God has blessed you immensely.erin_elizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11190378531522128802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005839725225650539.post-33271103046823013982013-11-25T20:16:18.513+09:002013-11-25T20:16:18.513+09:00Ali, thanks so much for that blog. I've been to a number of countries for extended periods of time, but Korea is the place where I've spent the most time and actually came to call home. I'm going back in January to start a new job. :)Christenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00178779737436868703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005839725225650539.post-66170486515014725302013-11-04T11:57:29.851+09:002013-11-04T11:57:29.851+09:00What a wonderful list, Christen! I especially appreciated the last two items on the 'Mentally changed' list. I, too, absolutely LOVED the noncommercialism of holidays while I worked in Tanzania (I found Korea to be quite a bit more commercialized than Tanzania, but it's definitely less so than North America.) And I, too, gained a heart for missions by living abroad and hope to go back overseas at some point in the (hopefully) near future.

Enjoy your final weeks in South Korea and soak up every minute of it!

PS - Have you read this blog post: http://naomihattaway.com/2013/09/i-am-a-triangle-and-other-thoughts-on-repatriation/? I found it quite insightful (although I've lived in too many countries other than my own - four so far - that I have no idea what shape I actually am...).Alihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14397307206604229435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7005839725225650539.post-89165526522469249092013-11-04T02:03:41.578+09:002013-11-04T02:03:41.578+09:00Beautiful my friend...I can relate to everything y...Beautiful my friend...I can relate to everything you said, and I cannot wait to see how God will continue to work in you year after year!
